INGREDIENTS:

  • 5-6 lb. Pork Shoulder
  • Your favorite seasoning (recommend Traeger PERFECT PORK: Brown Sugar, Paprika, Garlic)
  • 1/2 C. Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 12 oz. (1 ½ C. ) Apple juice
  • 3/4 C. BBQ Sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon grainy mustard
  • Butcher Paper

 

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Fill Halftime Cooker & the chimney top with 12lbs of charcoal
  2. Take your room temperature Pork Shoulder and cover all sides of pork with seasoning and refrigerate for 24 hours
  3. Mix liquid ingredients and add to an aluminum tray that will fit inside the smoker
  4. Place pork into liquid filled aluminum tray
  5. Place tray on bottom shelf of Halftime Smoker Cook 20 minutes per pound or until internal temperature reaches 200.
  • Optional: You can add Applewood chunks to the bottom of the smoker for added smoke flavor
