INGREDIENTS:
- 5-6 lb. Pork Shoulder
- Your favorite seasoning (recommend Traeger PERFECT PORK: Brown Sugar, Paprika, Garlic)
- 1/2 C. Apple Cider Vinegar
- 12 oz. (1 ½ C. ) Apple juice
- 3/4 C. BBQ Sauce
- 1 Tablespoon grainy mustard
- Butcher Paper
DIRECTIONS:
- Fill Halftime Cooker & the chimney top with 12lbs of charcoal
- Take your room temperature Pork Shoulder and cover all sides of pork with seasoning and refrigerate for 24 hours
- Mix liquid ingredients and add to an aluminum tray that will fit inside the smoker
- Place pork into liquid filled aluminum tray
- Place tray on bottom shelf of Halftime Smoker Cook 20 minutes per pound or until internal temperature reaches 200.
- Optional: You can add Applewood chunks to the bottom of the smoker for added smoke flavor
